Octoberfest in Del Mar.

Giving thanks
in November

Happy November Del Mar!

Welcome to November’s issue of Del Mar Lifestyle, Happy Thanksgiving! This month we are all about Giving Thanks and giving back to our community. In this month’s issue, we meet local residents and business owners who are giving back in meaningful and powerful ways. We meet Isabella’s Giraffe Fund founders Angela Amoroso and Drew Skinner, who help families in their greatest time of need with support and gracious love. We also meet Kim Melia, director with Legal Shield and founder of Work, Play, Love, an initiative in Guatemala serving orphans and empowering all young people to enjoy life. This organization believes that “Everyone Deserves to be Loved.”  Brent Chastain, owner of Chastain Creations, is also celebrated in this month’s issue. Brent repurposes fallen Redwoods into beautiful tables; truly works of sustainable art. Our business showcase and resident feature this month is with Joel Moody, owner of Revolution Bike Shop. Joel and his team support Pedal the Cause, a local organization fighting to end cancer.

We are also very excited to announce the addition of our new editor, F.A. Newton. Welcome onboard F.A.! Del Mar is lucky to have F.A. serving them.

Del Mar has so much to look forward to in November! From the Bing Season at the track, to the Susan G. Komen race, we are fortunate to celebrate the joy of giving back. As we move into the holiday months, we have Santa by the Sea to look forward to in Del Mar Village on December 6 and we continue the momentum of good cheer and holiday joy!

Until next time,
