Spring into April!

Hello April…

The recent rains have ensured spring’s bounty welcomes us in full bloom here in Del Mar and Carmel Valley…Always amazes me how much we have to be thankful for! From world-class resorts to hyper local businesses, we can find everything within a few minutes in our neighborhoods.

In this issue, we have several locals showing us how we can truly celebrate our fantastic surroundings – from the fresh pressed juices at Elixir to the vibrant salads at Farmer’s Fix. The Healthy Living Festival is back again giving you every reason to NOT find an excuse to embrace wellness in your life. Add to that the tennis and golf pro tips from our experts at Lomas Santa Fe, and you are good to go!

Chef Casey Thompson of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe and Chef Carl Schroeder of MARKET restaurant + bar chime in with their seasonal favorites, and we have some locally crafted libations for you as well. A visit to the Farmers Market is sufficient proof of nature’s gift to our coastal communities. And the beautiful Saltwater Farm provides an exquisite space for any special event you can imagine.

No matter where you turn, there is a strong sense of community and love for local, supporting our businesses and encouraging individuals, whatever the nature of their pursuits. We know, because we have been fortunate to be at the receiving end of it all, for which we are grateful, no doubt.
