Welcome to November!

Del Mar, I don’t know about you but I am beyond excited for this month with so much going on! We start the month with the Breeders’ Cup – Del Mar will be on the world stage. This event brings a lot of excitement to our coastal community including a week of festival events, food from around the world, and a chance to showcase Del Mar at its best. We have a lot to give thanks for!

This issue also spotlights some great local businesses like Carruth Cellars in Solana Beach and Drive AutoCare. Plus, yum! Some of the best local eats in Del Mar and Carmel Valley.

Richard Blais is featured in this issue – How amazing is it that we have a world-renowned chef living right here in Del Mar. We hope you enjoy his favorite things as much as we did.

Finally, our feature spread, which is truly a feast like no other, offers ideas and recipes for the holidays and entertaining. We are excited to hear your feedback.

Most importantly, this month we need you to VOTE! Take a few minutes to go online to DelMarLifestylePubs.com and cast your vote for your favorites in over 25 categories, from dining to fitness and so much more. We’ll feature the winners in a future issue! Your vote counts – let us know your top choices for each category and show your love for the local businesses you support.

As always, we are thankful for your support at every step of the way and wish you and yours a splendid Thanksgiving holiday!

See you around town,

Dan Austin, Publisher
