With friendly locals, world-class attractions, beautiful coastline and a relaxed vibe, Del Mar has great activities to enjoy all year long — but summertime is absolutely the best. So slather on that sunscreen and take advantage of everything Del Mar has to offer this season.

Backyard Picnic and Pool Party

Pull out the blankets and make way for an extra special summer picnic

Summertime and the livin’s easy—so live easy and invite some of your favorite gal pals over to splash around in the pool and nosh on picnic fare and poolside treats like fruits, berries, and pastries. Roll out your Skova picnic travel blanket, and create a super cozy alfresco experience with pillows, a blanket, and some great summertime tunes. Buy some pool floats in fun shapes like unicorns and pizza slices and kick back and relax with the ladies in the sunshine. For an evening picnic, bring your tiki torches or lanterns out and pepper them throughout the yard, and enjoy making new summer memories while eating, laughing, and just hanging with the girls.
